Senior Class 2023 Cap & Gown Individual Portraits are scheduled for Friday, May 12th from 9:00 am- 10:00 am. If you would like to have your picture made, please sign the list on Mrs. Harrison's door by Tuesday, May 2nd. Order forms are available in the counselor's office. All orders must be prepaid.

COLLEGE APPLICATIONS
Seniors, now is the time to start applying for admission to colleges. Many college have waived their application fees. Fee waivers are also available to use for application fees at most colleges and universities. Several colleges have also waived ACT test score requirements as part of the admissions process. Please see Mrs. Harrison if you would like more information or if you would like help completing your college applications.
FINANCIAL AID FOR COLLEGE
Seniors, the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is available online. Completing the FAFSA is the first step to see if you qualify for grants, work-study programs, and student loans. Some scholarship programs also use information from your FAFSA to determine eligibility for scholarship programs. The website for the FAFSA application is http://fafsa.gov/
You will also need to create your FSA ID (Federal Student Aid ID). Create your username and password at the following website https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch. Please contact Mrs. Harrison if you need any help or have any questions about applying for financial aid.
SELECTIVE SERVICE SYSTEM REGISTRATION
Federal law requires all men between the ages of 18 through 25 to register with the Selective Service System. If you are a young man who is 18 years old, you must register within 30 days of your birthday. You can register online at http://www.sss.gov/ You can also complete a registration form at your local post office. Contact Mrs. Harrison for more information.
