2024 Beta State Convention is in the books..

and Hayti High School has left their mark! These kids are coming home with 6 top 5 placements which qualifies them for Nationals in all six categories! As a teacher I love celebrating their successes, but I love seeing the realization that there were really important life lessons learned throughout this process. Things like, teamwork really IS possible, you don’t quit when you are tired or hungry or think you aren’t going to do well, anything worth doing is worth doing well, there is SO MUCH satisfaction in a job well done, and most importantly, we CAN do hard things are all concepts I have seen in action these past two days! Congrats to my kids!! All your hard work paid off!
